Define your collection

Collections are containers where data will be stored. Collections are defined according to the purpose of your database. One given collection can gather data from one telescop or from one model or from one object. The collection content is however limited. One collection can contain (at the same time) one set of images, one set of lists of sources and one set of spectra.

A SaadaDB must have at least one collection. To help you to define your collections imagine which data subset should be returned by a basic query without constraint (without where clause).

Collection are defined with the collection pane of the administration tool.
