The demo is located in SAADA_HOME/demo. Its installation is optional. It contains 6 images, 6 spectra and 6 lists of sources linked to each other by Saada relationships.

 Install the demo

• Change to dir SAADA_HOME/demo/scripts
• Build the demo
  • saadaop@host% ./buildDemo
• The build process takes one or 2 minutes on a notebook (2006 units). It could be interesting to redirect the output of buildDemo to a log file.

 Run the Demo

• Start your Tomcat server
• Connect to http://localhost:8080/DEMO
• Enjoy your browsing

 A few explanations : The command buildDemo invokes sant, the Saada ant wrapper (task saadadb). You can follow what is done by reading the file build.xml.

• The demo database is installed in SAADA_HOME/demo/saadadbs
• The repository is installed in SAADA_HOME/demo/repository
