The next major release, expected for June 2014, will be based on a data model issued from ObsCore

The new admin tools will be based on a mmore comprehensive screen organisation. It will also include a complete tool helping to publish data collection into the VO (TAP, ObsCORE, registry....). Release is expected for spring 2012. It is available in beta release.

The current release (1.6.0) has been designed to keep the same relational schema as former versions. That makes quite easy the upgrade of SaadaDBs. This schema has however some weakness limiting the scope of new expected features. Saada 2,0 will go through this limitation with major changes in both relational schema and meta data schema
